The structure honors the topography of the land, utilizing raw concrete, local timber, and expansive glass to blur the boundary between indoors and the vibrant Lombok jungle.
By contrasting the heavy, monolithic presence of board-formed concrete with the delicate, organic textures of local teak wood and woven rattan, the architecture establishes a dialogue between permanence and the ephemeral nature of the tropics.
We sourced materials that age gracefully alongside the environment. Stone floors that cool the feet, timber ceilings that capture acoustic warmth, and expansive glazing that acts as an invisible threshold to the outside world.
Designed for quiet contemplation and collective gathering. The central living pavilion is a masterclass in cross-ventilation and natural lighting.
